“The grill came on time and in perfect shape. It was almost a pleasure to put together. Everything fit, all the parts are very well made and fasteners high quality. I have to admit I am a Weber fan. This grill replaces a Weber Genesis I have been happy with for many years. I just wanted a new one and could not be happier. We used it today for the first time. It cooks very fast and the heat is easy to control. If you are thinking about spending $500 at a hardware store or Sam’s, go ahead and get this grill and be happy instead of getting buyers remorse.” – By R. Beasley
“This grill can do it all. Low heat, high heat, side burner, optional accessories, the list goes on. The way the burners are arranged makes it super versatile (front to back, not across the whole side), so you can use multi-heat zones. Easy to clean and take care of. The weight gauge for the propane tank is very accurate. I can’t say enough about this grill.
IF there was a con, I’d say that the side burner actually gets TOO hot. It’s a little difficult to simmer with the side burner. But for everything else it does the job.” – By Michael Jackson’s Fan
“This grill costs $200 – $300 more than many other competitive brands that have similar features, but if you’re looking for a solid frame and bod that doesn’t distort and wobble when you roll it around, there really is no alternative. Have used the grill twice now and am pleased with how quickly it heats up, the ability to accurately control heat, etc.” – By Dutch1959
“I made a joke to my friends that the reason they call it a Genesis is that it take 7 days to put together. Actually I put it together in a couple of evenings after work during the summer. It came on a pallet which I unpackaged and carried around the the back of my house in pieces to put it together on the patio. The grill is pretty heavy duty. Only the rollers are a little suspect. They work OK now but I wonder how they will hold up in a few years. Grill gets hot very fast and does a great job grilling.” – By T. Karcher
“Haven’t used it yet but test drive looks A1. A B—- to put together. Parts not lined up; screw holes not fitted; mis-identified parts (ie what screw goes where?). Took approximately 5 hours for an 81 year old man (husband) to put together (engineer and ret. pilot used to odd maintenance and repairs) he found being a gymnast in younger days helpful as much contortionist ability required for assembly. So, plan a good half day to assemble, use your own wrench (throw away junk tool that came with) and rubber mallet mandatory to align parts that wouldn’t fit. However in the long run this grill should out-last both of us!” – By Claudette Schwartz
“Delivered on time. Easy to read assembly instructions. I like the sear station and the side burner. Living in Florida I use the grill all year. The natural gas hookup is very convenient.” – By Walter Bisbee
“I have only had this grill for about six weeks, but so far its performance and ease of use have been outstanding. I have had no issues with flare ups as described in some reviews. The drip pan seems easy to clean to me; it is important to make sure you do that on a regualar basis. Putting the grill together was a bit daunting based on the written instructions alone. However, I found a YouTube video that provided step-by-step instructions which made the job pretty easy. The construction is very solid and well-made. It took about two hours from beginning to end. The sear station was a new thing to me, and I have liked it very much. I live in the Midwest and only time will tell if the grill will withstand the winter weather as the grill is too heavy for me to move back and forth inside.” – By BobH49
“This grill works fabuously. Following the simple instructions that come on a single laminated card, we have been able to cook chicken and beef to a tender, juicy state. The convection, direct and sear cooking options work remarkably well.
The construction of this grill is definitely first class. Everything is manufactured to fit perfectly. The grill box casting is very thick-walled and heavy, contributing to even cooking.
The cleaning and grease collection are easy. The stainless steel, V-shaped channels, that cover each burner, very effectively vaporize the grease, contributing flavor to the cooking process while the top is down, and have eliminated flare-ups during grilling.
The addition of the propane tank fill measurement should be very helpful.
This grill will last many years and provide much enjoyment.” – By J. Wiedmann
“I used to burn steaks, chicken, etc on my old charbroiler. But with the Weber, it is incredibly easy to cook meats just the way anyone wants it. No more burning steaks. This grill makes it easy. It was also pretty easy to install. It only took about 1 1/2 hour.” – By kc
“I love this BBQ! bought it to replace my 27 year old Weber Genesis 3000 model which still works very well and still looks good too. My Wife decided the other one was too “old” and I deserved a new one. I would give it five stars except last night the I noticed the tank was empty and I put on a new tank and found the regulator leaks after only 6-7 uses. I bought this model because made in USA but found the regulator is made in CHINA and not up to the quality or build for a $1000 product. It was a little unsettling that the whole lower cabinet filled with propane due to a cheap part. It could have been a big accident.” – By gadget guy
“Bought this grill to replace my 15 year old Weber grill that I gave to my son’s fraternity house. It heats up fast and there is even heat distribution thoughout the cooking surface. Sear station a great feature for grilling steaks. Side burner is a real convenience. Stainless steel thoughout looks great and is easy to clean up. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the grill sooner.” – By James J Wotruba
